What is Fit Right?

The WTB Fit Right System is a simple method of determining optimal saddle fit using anatomical correlations between the width of one’s wrist and the distance between their sit bones.

What is your body shape?

TRIANGLE

Hip measurements greater than their bust measurements.

*If calculating by hand, riders with this body type must multiply their wrist measurement and then add 15mm to determine the sit bone measurement.

Rectangle

Waist measurements less than 9 inches smaller than the hip or bust measurements.

INVERTED TRIANGLE

Broader shoulders and bust than they do hips.

HOURGLASS

Hip and bust measurements nearly equal in size, with a narrower waist measurement.

MEASURE YOUR WRIST

To accurately measure your wrist lay your arm flat to the ruler with your hand relaxed. Take your wrist measurement (mm) and enter it into the sit bone measurement calculator (below) for the optimal saddle fit. You can also manually calculate your sit bone measurement by multiplying your wrist measurement by two. Men and women will measure at different points of the wrist.

MEN'S WRIST MEASUREMENT

Men will measure at the narrowest point.

WOMEN'S WRIST MEASUREMENT

Women will measure at the widest point, where the bones are most prominent.

NOTE: 1cm = 10mm

SELECT SADDLE FROM FIT RIGHT CHART

Apply the personalized sit bone measurement to the WTB Saddle Fit Chart to determine which WTB saddles will provide the best fit. Riders then apply their personal preference of padding thickness and shape to determine the perfect saddle.
