Job Description     


Grow sales with existing customer base and new customers

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Approach every day with a positive mental attitude
  • Know the ins and outs of every account you manage
  • Recommend new products that best suit the needs of each individual customer
  • Ensure timely delivery of your customers’ orders
  • Identify industry and category developments
  • Responsible, mature, a problem solver, and someone who can work effectively on their own
  • Work with global sales team to identify market potential by searching for new accounts, and uncovering new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Strong understanding of the WTB product range and familiarity with all product features and benefits
  • Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments, explaining our products, and creating a good relationship with customers
  • Close sales by explaining product and service capabilities, overcoming objections, and following through with delivery
  • Ensure new product is ready and approved for production before the customer is ready to place their order through close contact with our product team, our global offices, and manufacturers
  • Ability to be mindful of subtleties while operating within international business and cultures
  • Maintain close contact with both customers and manufacturers to ensure goods are delivered on time with no mistakes after a purchase order is placed
  • Acquire accurate forecasting information from every customer and share this information with the appropriate global offices to ensure timely delivery
  • Work closely with OEM sales coordinator to designate new spec and find accurate costs for each new item
  • Work closely with OEM art lead to coordinate all custom colors and graphics for customers’ WTB product range
  • Identify new potential product opportunities, and work with both the product development team and select customers to bring new product to market
  • Work in conjunction with the marketing team at tradeshows and other occasions to help identify new markets, and grow the brand image
  • Must be familiar with product costing and margin analysis to establish sales prices that serve the customer and the brand you represent
  • Enter orders for all domestic bound shipments using SAP, and track these orders until they are delivered on time
  • Work with our global offices to identify and correct any potential issues pertaining to product spec and deliveries in a timely manner
  • Coordinate warranty product for custom parts in the most effective way possible to support the customer
  • Must be able to travel up to two weeks per month

The OEM Sales role reports to the Global Director of OEM Sales

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5 years experience in the bicycle industry
  • Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Teams
  • Knowledge of SAP and Adobe Illustrator is preferred
  • History of bike riding is important

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, The position requires 8 hours of work each day Monday through Friday. Flexible work hours may be accommodated
