Trail Boss 3.0

I have been using this tire for over year with zero issues even with the light casing. Easy tubeless setup. It has plenty of grip in all conditions. It is a true 3.0 tire, actually mine measures 79mm at the lugs. I would love If WTB made this tire in 29x3.0 because it performs much better than my 29x3.00 Ranger especially in wet condtions.

Been shredding the Trailboss 3.0 for four to five months or so now on a converted 2017 Trek Fuel EX 7 29er (now 27.5x3.0). Loving the tire on i35 WTB Asym rims. The bike is all sorted and has nice suspension which helps, but this tire hasn't failed me across a variety of terrain. From uphills, downhill bermed out runs, rock gardens, jumping... I'm having a hoot with these tires!

Awesome tire. Just put this in on as a replacement rear from the worn out stock (non-TCS) Bridger 3.0 on my Salsa Pony Rustler. Great choice. So happy I did it. running it at around 19-20 psi. Just did the Monarch Crest encountering just about every condition except deep mud. So good. Traction is fantastic. Hard Caliche with Pebbles to high altitude tundra and rocks, old jeep roads and miles and miles of technical singletrack with some sections on Silver Creek that were all rock. Total confidence, with no slipping or sliding ever. Even on the really tight off camber Rainbow trail tightroping on the edge having this big sticky tire hold on to the side of the trail was inspiring. I didn't feel the tire sidewall crumple or give even when though I was running pretty low pressure and riding fast down the backside of the crest. The low rolling resistance also reduces some fatigue on a long ride like this. One thing no one has mentioned is the added braking power this tire seems to give as it has so many surfaces to hold on to the trail. Great Job WTB. I am a fan!

Great traction on a big variety of trails and good rolling too. Very versatile tire for Trail & Enduro riding!

What can I say, I am very impressed with the 27.5+ x 3.0" tire size. Plush ride when running fully rigid, good hock up in a variety of conditions, has a nice full profile that retains it's agile feel. Great overall tire for the cyclist who wants to leave the woods with a smile.
