Product description
Judge with SG1 is our rowdiest and toughest rear-focused tire. Centerline knobs alternate between long and wide to provide the hard braking traction and efficiency required of a rear tire. Burly outer knobs provide support and dig in to keep you glued threw off-camber corners. Judge features a flatter tire profile than most other tires, which makes it easier to reach the outer knobs when cornering. The Judge keeps everything in order, whether dry and loose or wet and sloppy. SG1 puncture protection runs under the tread cap and has extended bead protection.

*WTB's tire pressure recommendations have changed over time due to further developments in technology. Riders may always reference the markings on their tires for allowed pressures ranges, but may also consult wtb.com for the most up-to-date tire pressure recommendations from WTB. We calculate pressure recommendations based on an average rider weight of 160-180 lbs and suggest increasing our minimum recommended pressure on WTB.com by 2-3psi for every additional 10 lbs of rider weight. Never exceed the maximum tire pressure marked on a tire.

SG1 Protection
Added under tread puncture protection runs beneath the entire tread cap making the tire more resilient against sharp objects lurking in the dirt. However, the fortification does not stop there. With a clear goal of strengthening the most vulnerable areas of a tire, WTB has introduced their new IP+ technology, tripling the height of it’s apex bead protection for SG1. This enhancement not only shields the tire bead from damage, but also significantly bolsters the sidewall structure.

Updated Compounds
After years of development and numerous revisions, WTB has also updated both Fast Rolling and High Grip compounds to not only increase tread longevity, but also improve grip at the same time. Especially in wet conditions. Blue is harder compound and Green is softer compound.
