Just the kind of grip I always wanted. The rubber is very sticky and with time it gets even more supple and glue like. The channels for zip ties are a great idea...always used them so I am not sure if they are really needed. They can be cut to size, don't have metal flanges that may hurt or restric movements without gloves etc. The only reason they didn't get 5stars is that they are a little too thin. If you got big hands a bit thicker grips help.

I had these on my XC MTB they were fit and forget. The grip was first class I almost wore these out never wanted to change them. Did not matter what the weather was you can hang on and they stay put! We get lots of rain in Scotland so good grips are a must.
