Janelle Soukup Takes On Red Bull Rampage 2026
Last week, Janelle Soukup headed to the Utah desert for Red Bull Rampage 2026, taking on one of the most demanding events in mountain biking and coming away with something pretty special: Kelly McGarry Spirit Award.

Known for its massive drops, exposed lines, and technical terrain, Rampage is unlike anything else in the sport. It's where creativity, commitment, and a whole lot of courage come together.
For this year's event, Janelle rolled out on a custom Marin Quake, complete with a one-of-a-kind frame design featuring doodles from friends and family. A personal touch on a bike built for some seriously intimidating terrain.

Built for the Big Stuff
Janelle's setup featured WTB Judge 2.5 tires front and rear, paired with WTB carbon i30 wheels.
The Judge's aggressive tread features tall, widely spaced knobs designed to dig into loose terrain and deliver dependable braking traction. It's a tire built for steep descents and demanding conditions, making it a fitting choice for the loose, exposed terrain of Rampage.
Paired with WTB's carbon wheels, the setup brings together the strength, stiffness, and precision needed when riding gets rowdy. From heavy landings to technical approaches, it's equipment designed for the kind of riding where confidence matters.

More Than a Run
Rampage is about more than the final ride. It's the days spent digging, the crew behind every feature, and the commitment it takes to bring a line to life.
That's what makes Janelle taking home the Kelly McGarry Spirit Award so special. At an event known for pushing the limits of what's possible on a bike, it's a recognition that celebrates something beyond the competition itself: the passion, camaraderie, and spirit that make freeride mountain biking what it is.
From her custom bike covered in messages from friends and family to the crew supporting her in the desert, Janelle brought plenty of heart to Rampage this year.
We're incredibly proud to support Janelle and couldn't be more stoked to see her recognized for what makes this sport so special.
