Slick Centerline Efficiency

Provides maximium efficiency while also smoothing out the ride on a variety of surfaces ranging from smooth concrete to broken pavement. Tread is less important on the centerline of the tire where the weight of the rider is pushing in a downward direction rather than the cornering forces that occur at the outer edges of a tire.

Grooved Outer Tread

Angled grooves at the outer edges of the tread increase cornering traction and while also providing channels for water evacuation. These grooves allow the Slick to excel in adverse weather conditions while also providing additional traction on the occasional broken concrete or dirt path.

Long Lasting Centerline

The centerline of a tire always wears the quickest, which is another reason why the Slick features a smooth section of thick rubber. Minimzing the amount of texture within the centerline extends the lifespan of the tire by increasing the amount of rubber that needs to be worn away before the tire is replaced.

Comp Casing

Combines the lightweight efficiency of a single-ply casing with the dependability of a wire bead. Wire bead tires are designed to be used with a tube and therefore are not tubeless compatible.

Wire Bead Dependability

Tires with wire beads utilize a thin, woven wire throughout the length of the bead to provide strength and proper tire retention. Our wire bead Comp tires feature durable rubber throughout the entire casing and sidewall to deliver additional puncture protection while also ensuring the tires holds up to cornering on asphalt and even the occasional curb rub. Wire bead tires require the use of an inner tube and cannot be set up tubeless.

They were shipped very quickly. Tires are great. Not much to say but very happy with service and product so far.

2,150mi and still going strong!!

Purchased these tires in late March 2025 through Amazon. It has been over 4 months and over 2150 miles and I am still riding on them multiple times a week on paved trails. My pace increased when I swapped to them. I had one flat which is common here in Colorado (ran over a goat head thorn). Quickly replaced the tube in the field and was off again. Highly recommended!!

Solid tire for road use

Haven’t been able to ride as many trails as I want to so I bought these to use with my Trek Marlin while riding around town with the family. Easy to install on my rims. Used them only a few times but they have a lot better rolling resistance than my Maxxis tires on the road and gravel path that we typically ride. Glad I bought these.

If you want to blast your quads…

Setting up my 29” wheeled hardtail with these slicks/light weight tubes can provide a workout like no other. I tend to put between 55-60 psi and the rolling resistance allows this old man to average 16-18 mph on group rides with the roadies…great for cornering on warm tarmac:grin:

Great tires!

I got these tires 2-1/2 years ago for my Trek Marlin 4 at that time the bike had just over 1,000 miles when I put these tires on and now my bike has 5,700 miles on it and these tires have been the best tires I ever had they still have plenty of tread and have gave me no problems. The only issue I did notice is I have started to experience tread separation where the tread has started to crack and separate from the tire. I keep my bike in my garage and I do keep the tires at the proper air pressure. The tread separation is not a big issue at the moment but it has continued to get worse to the point where starting to get concerned and considering replacing the tires. But otherwise these have been excellent tires
