BCBR racers are the first to see our new WTB grip line in the wild! We're not launching them for a few months, but figured a week of B.C. singletrack would be the ultimate test for grip comfort and control. Feel free to share the stoke with your friends, but we respectfully request you keep them off social media until they're launched later this year.
OPTIONS FOR EVERY HAND
MINIMAL grips feature low-profile textures that maximize bar feel for riders who prefer a more direct connection to their handlebar.
BALANCED grips provide all-around performance with design features that provide riders with equal parts comfort and control.

TAPERED INNER SLEEVE
Each of the new WTB grips feature a tapered inner sleeve to provide an interference fit at the outer end of the grip. This ensures a snug fit between the handlebar and grip, but also means that you may need to give the grip a few extra twists and taps in order for it to fully bottom out onto the bar.

We tested five different rubber compounds before striking the perfect balance of comfort, stickiness, and durability. The final result is a rubber compound that is as soft and sticky as possible without negatively affecting the lifespan of the grip. For those of you living in wet climates, we also made sure the compound retains its grip on the slickest of days.

The Burr features a low-profile texture that provides riders with the most direct connection to their handlebar. Whether you're hanging on under full compression or yanking upwards to clear a root, the bi-directional ridges provide the grip you need to keep everything under control. The thin, 30mm diameter makes the Burr an ideal grip for riders who prefer smaller diameter grips.

The Wavelength features multi-directional fins that improve handlebar control while also maximizing comfort on rough terrain. The underside of the grip features a waffle pattern for increased bar feel and grip where the fingers naturally wrap around the bar. The tapered 30/32mm grip diameter becomes larger at the outer edge of the grip to improve comfort and control in technical terrain.

The Trace relies on big, soft blocks on the top surface of the grip to provide riders with maximum comfort on rough, jarring terrain. Ample space between the trapezoidal blocks provides them room to squish and conform to the rider’s hand. The Trace's soft compound rebounds slowly to provide additional damping and increase comfort while a knurled fingertip pattern enhances bar feel. Ideal for riders who want soft, cushioned grips that absorb trail chatter and reduce hand numbness.

The CZ Control features a semi-ergonomic shape that mirrors how a hand naturally interacts with the handlebar. Pressure mapping technology allowed us to increase support where hand pressure is distributed while riding. Contouring the grip surface to the hand creates a harmonious connection between the rider and handlebar, resulting in improved control and comfort. The CZ Control features a tapered internal sleeve to eliminate rotational twisting that often occurs with other ergonomic grips.
