"WTB delivers a great range of tires that cover me for all the diverse terrain we have to race at the Enduro World Series. For me all the parts that are direct contact points to the ground like the tire are super important so I'm glad I can trust WTB tires to bring me to the finish line fast and safe. With the comfortable Womens specific saddles like the DEVA the long long days in the saddle are no problem to handle." - Caro Gehrig

Saddle SL8: The best saddle to fit my style of riding without limiting my movement. I ride a lot on the front of the saddle and like to move a lot on the downhill so the SL8 suit the best for me.

Commander Padloc grip: Since I've tried I can't ride  grips with external lock on anymore.

My name is Jeff, and I’ve been living the two-wheeled lifestyle for my entire life!

I started racing BMX at 10 years old, then soon began riding cross country mountain bikes.  Growing up in the Santa Cruz mountains, my first MTB riding spot was the Soquel State Demonstration Forest.  While attending university, I got super into downhill racing, competing at many collegiate events, then moved onto the NORBA national circuit, going pro in 2005.  I raced DH until around 2008, then during the “dark ages” of USA downhill racing, I took a bit of a break from racing until enduro hit the USA scene in 2012.  I spent about 4 years racing enduro quite heavily.

In addition to racing, I worked at Ibis Cycles from 2008 to 2015, then spent 3 wonderful years managing international sales at WTB.  I then transitioned to content creation, which is what I still do today.

I LOVE the WTB Vigilante 2.5 tire up front, and the WTB Judge 2.4 rear tire has amazed me with its traction for braking, cornering, and technical climbing.  I really like the Silverado saddle for my low-handlebar cockpit set ups, and on my more upright bikes, I love the Pure saddle.  I use WTB Technical Trail clamp on grips, and enjoy the thin diameter combined with the soft rubber compound.

As for my go-to WTB tires, particularly when it comes to gravel, it’s all about the Nano 40s for me. Also, being that I spend so much time on the road training, the Exposure 30s, set up tubeless, are dreamy for Sonoma County’s pot hole filled roads.

Sean:
I use the the WTB Silverado saddle and Wafel grips for both of my XC Race bikes. A comfy saddle is extremely important because of the amount of time we spend riding. I have used the Silverado for three years now on both my mountain bikes and it is very comfortable and light. Having good grips is also really important, because it is a main contact point between you and your bike. The Wafel grip is comfy but also slim and light weight.

Quinton Disera:
Comfort is a necessity when you put in as much time on our bikes as we do! Luckily we have WTB components to have that comfort without sacrificing any performance of the product!

Stoked to be repping the WTB SL8 saddle and Wafel grips on my bikes!

ALN "The WTB Deva is on every single of my bikes. The comfort and reliability of this saddle makes it one of my favorite pieces of equipment. It’s a no-brainer, from road bike to DH bike."

Bradyn Lange "This WTB saddle is rad, super comfy for those long days on the bike and the design on it is just icing on the cake. Definitely recommending this saddle any chance I get."

Barry Wicks has been riding and racing mountain bikes since 1996. After ten seasons chasing the World Cup XC circuit around the globe, he now focuses his energy on Gravel Road Racing, and producing cool stories with  Kona Adventure Team. Barry's favorite WTB products include the Venture 700x50c Gravel racing tire, which he claims make his gravel bike more capable than his XC race bike from 2003, and his Silverado Team carbon saddle, which has been on every single one of his bikes since his first season with Kona in 2002.

‘I run the Silverado on my train bike because it's cool, light and keeps my botty comfy for long rides’

Bernard Kerr:

‘I Like the koda seat for dirt jumping, its the most fun bike to ride in the down time between races and the seat is rad’

Emilie Siegenthaler:

‘My favourite seat is the WTB high tail! As a short rider I can run the seat as low as I want and due to the high tail’s shape it doesn’t hit the tyre while riding. I get to my setup prefect and it looks sick and is light!’

My favourite saddle is High Tail because not only it looks super cool but feels very comfortable ,especially in enduro race.

Vigilante is most used tire in my EWS rounds. It offers incredible grip and can deal with all kinds surface conditions, but when it gets wet and muddy, it excels even more. I truly believe WTB is made for competition. "

“We love the Vigilante 2.5 - tough/high grip in the front because it’s a great tire in every trail condition, from dry to wet and you can push hard in all the situations. In the rear we usually use the Judge 2.4 - tough/fast rolling because we think that is a good mix between the rolling and the grip with a great braking power!”

Thibaut Ruffin, COMMENCAL/VALLNORD Team Owner and Manager: (I thought it might be good to have one in the behalf of the team)

"As a World Cup Downhill Team, we need saddles than we can trust and abuse, the WTB High Tail Team is our choice. This saddle offers a lightweight product and an optimal design with the perfect clearance to avoid the rear wheel "BRRRRRRR" contact noise when bottoming out as it has always been before we use the High Tail, and having a quiet bike in every situation is priceless! Moreover, in 2 years of use, we never bent any single Titanium Rail from WTB or broke any shell, so our trust is limitless!"

Amaury Pierron:

"I'm Amaury Pierron, 23 yo, I live in Vieille Brioude in the center of France and I'm the 2018 UCI DH World Cup Overall winner. I ride the WTB High Tail Team on my COMMENCAL Supreme DH and Silverado Team on my COMMENCAL META AM, TRAIL and POWER and I couldn't hope for better saddles on my bikes! They are strong, light, stylish, and so comfortable, what else can we ask for!?"

Myriam Nicole:

"My name is Myriam Nicole aka "Pompon", I live in Clermont l'Hérault near Montpellier, France, I'm 29 years old. I have won 4 World Cups in my career as well as the UCI DH World Cup overall in 2017. I'm currently injured with a broken foot sustained 2 months and a half ago. I had multiple breaks in my foot and I'm working hard to get back on my bike very soon. I ride for WTB since 2018 with the COMMENCAL/VALLNORD Team and I like having those saddles on my bikes! As a girl in DH, I have to run a lower seat height on my bikes compare to the boys, and the shape of the High Tail allows me to set it up the way I want without having to care about the tire clearance, this is an important asset for me.

Many years of partnership with WTB that gave me the opportunity to ride safe and issue free that makes me able to ride stronger and better. That is why I’m grateful for WTB because they are technologically advanced in the cycling world that creates itś own trend.

I have been riding on WTB saddles since 2008. My favorite saddle all the time is Silverado, that I’m using on my Enduro bike at the moment. I’m really happy also with WTB tires and especially with versatile Vigilante 2.5”. One of the best choices on my bikes :)

Ondrej Štepánek / Jablonec nad Nisou / Czech Republic

I have been running WTB components for fifth year. The saddles are perfect in every way, both in design and function. Tires have undergone big changes. Now they have come up with a perfect compound that has a perfect grip but also good puncture protection.
Im happy to be a part of this company in all time. Look forward for another years together.

When it comes to tyre choice, grip, puncture resistance and ultimately confidence is key. We found this throughout the WTB range for all the bikes we shred on from xc to enduro. The Vitus First Tracks Race Division is mainly an Enduro focused race team and our go to set up is a 2.5 vigilante at the business end with a 2.35 vigilante looking after the party in the rear. For ultimate control we opt for tough/high grip to make sure nothing spoils the show!

The other contact points get looked after by a volt saddle. Its slick looking and after hours on the trail I can still crack on in comfort! I think it's important when you find a saddle that works you simply stick with it. They have been on all my bikes for 3 years now and it's staying that way.

The padloc grip system have been looking after our hands. Once you get it set up those bad boys ain't moving. We like the feel of the thinline ones but recently have moved to the thicker grips to absorb some of those vibrations on the longer trails.

Short quote on the new Verdict tyre: It’s the most gripy tyre I’ve used to date. The first time I used it I truely couldn’t understand how well it worked in corners and off camber sections. Big up for creating such an awesome product!

I always choose Wtb tyres for bikepacking and ultra events. For road I love the Exposure 30c for the perfect combination of comfort and speed and the Riddler for off road gravel rides. This year I completed the Tour Divide on the classic WTB Nano 2.1 mtb tyre. If you want a fast rolling tyre with a load of grip the Nano is the one to go for.

On long climbs, the Silverado allows me to comfortably sit closer to the cockpit and keep my weight over the front.
