Position: Graphic Designer 

Department: Product Development/Marketing
Location: Nevada City, California


The Graphic & Technical Designer works closely with the Marketing, Sales and Product Development Managers to determine direction, material, and guidelines for all projects. Keeps up to speed with consumer trends, and supports the integrity of the lines/brands and the goals of the company. Produces product graphics, print collaterals, tech icons, hot-patches, packaging and have a basic understanding of tradeshow layouts.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for all product graphics including: Tires, Rims, Saddles and Grips
Creating new designs for packaging across all  product categories
Create cohesive hot patches for tires within each category
Create catalogs and user manual materials
Limited edition designs and color changes
Have some basic knowledge of Tradeshow design
Must be on trend with current looks and color
Must be able to meet deadlines
Must work efficiently with a team
Eager and able to think outside the box
Adhere to Product Development timelines and meet all deadlines
Must be able to manage multiple projects, across several categories, within the set timeline and meeting the standards set by Management
Supply accurate/complete Design Packs to team members
Follow up with vendors on approvals for counter and production samples. Work with production team to review packaging and make recommendation for corrections
Assist in the layout, design and production of event signage/graphics
Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
o Cycling/powersports/motorsports background preferred.
o 2-3 years of professional experience.
o Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign CC
o A knowledge of printing techniques and understanding of how graphics will translate onto a printable materials is a plus.
o Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
