How long you have been with WTB: 2016 will be my second year!

Age: 29

Discipline: Enduro, DH, CX,

Hometown: Oakland, CA

Favorite place to ride: Beacon, NY (Shhhh it’s secret).

Fun fact: Riding bikes has taken me to 47 of the 50 states. I’m coming for you Hawaii, New Mexico, and

How WTB contributes to your success? WTB makes tires for every condition with crazy traction and with beefy options that a fat kid like me won’t flat. It’s really hard to go fast with no air in your tires.

How you got started out competing? I started working at a shop in New York my senior year of high school which introduced me to an absolute killer group of riders. Those riders ended up becoming some of my closest friends and a lot of them were absolute shredders. Chasing them around got me up to speed pretty quickly, and with my competitive mindset, I got addicted to racing pretty soon after.

First experience with a bike: Shredding around my neighborhood in upstate NY.

Who do you look up to? I look up to riders who can compete in a wide range of events and disciplines. Riders like Tracey Mosely and Jarred Graves come to mind. Just absolute shredders on anything with two wheels. Also Elon Musk, I’m pretty sure he’s the closest thing we have to Iron Man.

Other activities (off the bike): When I’m not riding, I’m working as a sustainability consultant here in Oakland. I try to fit some time in for snowboarding and climbing in the off season too!

Beverage of Choice: Coffee, always coffee.

Place you have always wanted to ride: I still have never been to Whistler!
