How long you have been with WTB: 1 year
Hometown: Ottawa, ON
Favorite place to ride: Highland Park, NH
Fun fact: Self-proclaimed Arm wrestling champion
How WTB contributes to your success? Tires and saddles are parts that riders obsess over and for good reason. They keep you on the trail and comfortable while doing it. I am happy to have found the right options for my various bikes so I can focus on shredding.
How you got started out competing? Convinced mom that it would be safer for her to drive me to races versus the epic, solo rides I would routinely come home from; bruised and bloody.
First experience with a bike: My family lived in BC’s Fraser Valley for a few years during my childhood. My earliest mountain bike memory is from a hike with my parents and seeing flashes of neon amongst the giant redwood trees. When I realized it was people on bikes, I tugged on mom’s arm and said, “I want to do that”.
Who do you look up to? Cedric Gracia.
Other activities(off the bike): Hanging out with my dog and collecting tattoos. I have also joined the team building Canada’s National Enduro Championships and U21 support program.
Beverage of Choice: Black Coffee
Place you have always wanted to ride: France and I will finally have the chance during this year’s Trans Provence.
