Sponsors: Trek, Castelli, Fox, Bontrager, K-Edge, Oakley, Sock Guy, WTB, GU, City Cycle

How long you have been with WTB: This is my second year riding for WTB with Bear Development Team

Age: 17

Discipline: XC

Hometown: Oakland, CA

Favorite place to ride: Pretty much anywhere in the Bay

Fun fact: I've raced on the same pair of spd pedals for 6 years

How WTB contributes to your success? WTB provides us with the best product for racing, training and generally going fast. I won the Downieville Classic XC race in the Junior Expert division on dual Trail Boss 2.25 light/fast rollings and a silverado saddle.

How you got started out competing? I did my first mountain bike race when I was in middle school, and was hooked ever since

First experience with a bike: Bikes have always been a big part of my life, ever since I can remember learning how to ride in preschool.

Who do you look up to? I look up to any racer in pretty much any discipline of cycling who has made it to the upper echelons of the sport, because I am starting to realize how much dedication it takes to get there. More specifically I'm a fan of small guys who go uphill fast, whether that's someone like Howard Grotts in XC, or Nairo Quintana on the road. I also am very impressed by WTB athletes like Mark Weir and Marco Osborne who can get really really rad everywhere!

Other activities(off the bike): Drawing, Reading, Skiing, Camping

Beverage of Choice: Coconut Water

Place you have always wanted to ride: Anywhere in Europe with mountains
